I have been an artist since attending art college at age 15. I trained as a graphic designer and worked in publishing for a number of years. I then trained as an art teacher and later a design technology teacher until retiring in 2005. I work in acrylics and watercolour. I am fascinated by atmospheric light and perspective and continue to experiment with mixed media.
Many of my themes relate to water and landscape.
I have travelled widely and recent work has been influenced by visits to South East Asia.
I have been opening our house for the past 10 years, but this year I am having a break and showing at Eva Wibberley’s house in the Fiveways Artists Open House trail.
I will be showing a selection of my mixed media paintings along with giclee prints and greetings cards.
